So I've finally gotten round to setting this thing up. I've been meaning to set up a general blog for a while now. Not RPG's, not activism, not anything specific, but just whatever comes to my head. This is for everything that doesn't necessarily fit somewhere else. One day, it may be about music. Another day, it may end up being about technology. Another, – well, who knows what it might be.
So who am I, anyway? Some of you probably know bits and pieces of the answer to that question. But, probably not the whole thing. I'm sort of a mix of things, really. Musician, sort of; RPG gamer; language enthusiast; pagan, UU, eclectic; hopefully, before too long, I'll be a voiceover artist. I love science fiction, especially Star Trek. And, perhaps more so, I'm a fantasy buff. I think, perhaps, in fantasy, I find an escape from a world that increasing we makes so little sense to me. At any rate, I guess you could say I'm a sort of Heinz 57 of ideas and interests.
As it happens, I'm also blind. Though, that's not a major factor in my life, as I see it. It's just part of who I am. My blindness is caused by optic nerve hypoplasia, which is, on the surface, a malformation of the optic nerve. But it's actually more than that. It would be more accurately described as a midline brain defect. Sometimes I think that's part of why, as far as I can tell, I seem to see the world a bit differently than most. Who knows. Anyway, that's me, in as close to a nutshell as I can get
